September Class 4

I love this card, it is so light and airy. I created this card using scrap Ultra smooth cardstock, a scrap of green, a scrap of red and a tan card blank.  For a bit of softness I used a bit of doily to make the card have texture.

This project was inspired by Rita Kegg.  She gave me a trade at seminar that was very simular.  I changed it up a small bit and this is what came out of it.

This classic could be formed into a multiple of mini albums.  You could stretch it out and make it a 6 X6 album or you could make it a 4 3/4 x 6 for it to hold your photos from Christmas.  This one was done smaller, 4 X 6 you could still put pictures in, but I had envisioned my grandma using this one to write one of her famous letters.  I put the december date disk on the last page so that it cold be dated for the occasion.

I love this set.  it is so homespun, with a bit of vintage.  It is just a really cool stamp.  You can make this set look a ton of different ways.

This version uses watermark and distressing techniques.  I think it looks better in real life than my pictures.

September Class Photos

We had our card class this weekend and I think it turned out great.  We made 4 cards and one Christmas ornament.  Strangely enough I can't find the stupid ornament to show on my blog.  SORRY!!!!!

Anyway for the rest of the week I will post one card a day to show you what we did.  Maybe by the end of the week I will find that pesky ornament..  Now, On to the first card from class:

Scorepal (to score the pretty double lines 1" apart)
Mega Square Scallop Punch
Brown Liquide Applique
Red Tombow Marker
White Souflee Pen 
Foam dots.

This card is a super dupper extra easy card to make.  A little scoring, a little stamping and a bit of cool and you have a card that is super easy to mass produce.  Cost of this card is a under 1.00 per card and if you work with 8 1/2 X 11 it doesn't take long to produce.  If using 12 X 12, you could make some in Brown as the base and some as Green for the base and use the 4" strip as the scallop squares.  Very easy.  It could be my card for the year.
