I am so bad this year. With everything going on at Work and going back to School it is Novemeber and I haven't even started on my Christmas Cards.
So today we had a awsome group of customers come to my first Copic class. We started with Blending techniques. I am hoping to have another in a couple of weeks... assuming my schedule stays as it is right now.
The Card today is with one of our new stamps call Poinsetta and it is item # T3416. I like this stamp as it is very easy to determine where to place the colors.
Since coloring with copics I have started creating prototypes and then saving so that I know what I did. I am including my proto type so you can see what I am talking about.
And Here is the finished card:
The darkness of the image is from my camera I used and I appologize for that.
The markers that I used are copic and are listed above. The Happy Holidays sentiment is from TAC also. The image was stamped with Momento Tuxedo Black and the sentiment was stamped in Palette Muline Rouge.
One technique I used to get the poinsetta to look mottled was a seasponge dipped in the Copic Blender solution. This pushed the ink around a bit and made it light and dark. Once it had moved it around where I wanted I heat set it to stop any further movement.
Beautiful job on the coloring.

Your prototype is such a good idea! I did that with one image that I color occasionally and I'm always so thankful for it when I go to color it again!! :-)
